कुशल नील और नल ने सेतु बनाया; राम की कृपा से उनका यश प्रकट हुआ।

The skilled Nila and Nala built the bridge; through Rama’s grace, their fame became manifest.

जो पत्थर स्वयं डूबते और दूसरों को भी डुबाते हैं, वे ही नाव के समान हो गए।

The very stones that sink and cause others to sink became like boats.

यह समुद्र की महिमा नहीं बताई गई है; न यह पत्थरों का गुण है, न वानरों का किया हुआ कार्य।

This is not a description of the ocean’s greatness; nor is it a property of the stones or an accomplishment of the vanaras.

श्रीराम के प्रताप से पत्थर समुद्र पर तैर गए।

Through the power of Rama, the stones floated upon the ocean.

वे मंदबुद्धि हैं जो राम को छोड़कर किसी अन्य प्रभु को भजने जाते हैं।

Those who abandon Rama and go to worship another lord are dull-witted.
