अब बालि की कुशल बताओ; वह कहाँ है? तब अंगद हँसकर बोले।

Now tell me how Bali fares; where is he? Then Angada replied with a laugh.

दस दिन बीतने पर बालि के पास जाकर, अपने मित्र को छाती से लगाकर, उसकी कुशल पूछ लेना।

After ten days, go to Bali, embrace your friend, and ask how he fares.

राम से विरोध करने पर जैसी कुशल होती है, वह सब वही बालि तुम्हें सुनाएगा।

Bali himself will tell you all about the kind of well-being that comes from opposing Rama.

सुन मूर्ख, उसी के मन में भेदभाव होता है जिसके हृदय में श्रीरघुवीर नहीं हैं।

Listen, fool: divisive distinctions arise in the mind of one whose heart does not hold Lord Rama.

हे दशशीश, सच है—मैं कुल का नाश करने वाला हूँ और तुम कुल की रक्षा करने वाले हो!

Ten-headed Ravana, indeed—I destroy my family, while you preserve yours!

अंधे और बहरे भी ऐसा नहीं कहते; तुम्हारे तो बीस आँखें और बीस कान हैं!

Even the blind and deaf would not say such a thing; you have twenty eyes and twenty ears!
