कौशल के स्वामी राम की जय हो, जिनके चरण शिव द्वारा वंदित हैं और जिनमें सीता का प्रेम अत्यंत निर्मल है।

Glory to Rama, Lord of Kosala, whose feet Shiva reveres and for whom Sita's love is utterly pure.

सीता का प्रतिरूप और लोक में लगा कलंक प्रचंड अग्नि में जल गए।

Sita's counterpart and the worldly stigma burned away in the fierce fire.

प्रभु के चरित का रहस्य किसी ने नहीं समझा; आकाश में खड़े देवता, सिद्ध और मुनि देखते रहे।

No one understood the Lord's deed; gods, perfected beings, and sages stood watching in the sky.

अग्निदेव ने रूप धारण करके उन वास्तविक श्रीस्वरूपा सीता का हाथ पकड़ा, जो वेदों और जगत में प्रसिद्ध हैं—

Taking form, the fire god clasped the hand of the true Sita, the embodiment of Lakshmi, renowned in the Vedas and the world—

और उन्हें लाकर राम को सौंप दिया, जैसे क्षीरसागर ने लक्ष्मी को समर्पित किया था।

He brought her and entrusted her to Rama, as the Ocean of Milk had offered Lakshmi.

वही सीता राम की बाईं ओर सुशोभित हैं; उनकी सुंदर शोभा अत्यंत मनोहर है।

That same Sita shines at Rama's left side, her lovely splendor exceedingly beautiful.

Celestial musicians sing, and the gods' consorts dance aboard celestial vehicles.

जनकपुत्री सीता सहित प्रभु राम की शोभा असीम और अपार है।

The splendor of Lord Rama together with Sita, Janaka's daughter, is immeasurable and boundless.

यह देखकर भालू और वानर हर्षित हुए: सुख के सारस्वरूप रघुपति राम की जय हो!

Seeing this, the bears and monkeys rejoiced: Glory to Rama, Lord of Raghu's line, the very essence of happiness!
