अत्यंत सुखद, तीन गुणों वाली हवा चली; समुद्र, सरोवरों और नदियों का जल निर्मल था।

An exceedingly pleasant breeze, endowed with three qualities, blew; the waters of the sea, lakes, and rivers were clear.

चारों ओर सुंदर शुभ शकुन हो रहे थे; मन प्रसन्न था और आकाश तथा दिशाएँ निर्मल थीं।

Beautiful auspicious omens appeared on every side; hearts were joyful, and the sky and all directions were clear.

राम ने कहा, ‘सीता, युद्धभूमि देखो; यहाँ लक्ष्मण ने इंद्रजीत को मारा था।’

Rama said, ‘Sita, look at the battlefield; here Lakshmana killed Indrajit.’

हनुमान और अंगद के मारे हुए बड़े बलशाली राक्षस युद्धभूमि में पड़े थे।

Mighty demons slain by Hanuman and Angada lay on the battlefield.

देवताओं और मुनियों को दुख देने वाले दोनों भाई, कुंभकर्ण और रावण, यहाँ मारे गए थे।

The two brothers, Kumbhakarna and Ravana, who tormented gods and sages, were slain here.

‘यहाँ मैंने सेतु बाँधा और सुख के धाम शिव की स्थापना की।’

‘Here I built the bridge and installed Shiva, the abode of happiness.’

कृपा के भंडार राम ने सीता सहित शिव को प्रणाम किया।

Rama, the treasury of compassion, bowed to Shiva together with Sita.

वन में जहाँ-जहाँ कृपा-सागर राम ने निवास और विश्राम किया था—

Wherever Rama, the ocean of compassion, had stayed and rested in the forest—

वे सभी स्थान राम ने जानकी को दिखाए और सबके नाम बताए।

Rama showed all those places to Janaki and told her each one’s name.
