विनती करके जब शिव चले गए, तब विभीषण प्रभु राम के पास आए।

When Shiva departed after offering his prayer, Vibhishana approached Lord Rama.

प्रभु के चरणों में सिर झुकाकर विभीषण कोमल वाणी में कहते हैं: हे शार्ङ्ग धनुष धारण करने वाले प्रभु, मेरी विनती सुनिए।

Bowing his head at the Lord’s feet, Vibhishana speaks gently: Lord who bears the Sharnga bow, please hear my request.

हे प्रभु, आपने रावण को उसके कुल और सेना सहित मार डाला तथा अपना पावन यश तीनों लोकों में फैलाया।

Lord, you slew Ravana together with his clan and army, and spread your purifying fame throughout the three worlds.

मैं दीन, मलिन और बुद्धि तथा जाति में हीन हूँ; ऐसे मुझ पर आपने अनेक प्रकार से कृपा की।

Though I am lowly, impure, and deficient in understanding and birth, you have shown me grace in many ways.

हे प्रभु, अब अपने सेवक के घर को पवित्र कीजिए। स्नान कीजिए, जिससे युद्ध की थकान दूर हो।

Lord, now sanctify your servant’s home. Please bathe, so that the fatigue of battle may fade.

हे कृपालु, कोष, महल और संपत्ति देखकर वानरों को आनंद दीजिए।

Compassionate Lord, look upon the treasury, palaces, and wealth, and give joy to the monkeys.
