As they are cut off, the clusters of heads keep increasing, just as greed grows with each gain.

हे उमा, जिनकी इच्छा से काल भी मर जाता है, वे प्रभु अपने भक्त के प्रेम की परीक्षा लेते हैं।

Uma, the Lord at whose will even Death dies tests his devotee’s love.

हे सर्वज्ञ, चर-अचर जगत के स्वामी, शरणागतों के रक्षक और देवताओं तथा मुनियों को सुख देने वाले, सुनिए।

Listen, O all-knowing Lord of all moving and unmoving beings, protector of those who seek refuge and giver of joy to gods and sages.

इसकी नाभि के कुंड में अमृत बसता है। हे नाथ, उसी के बल से रावण जीवित है।

Nectar of immortality resides in the hollow of his navel. Lord, Ravana lives by its power.

विभीषण के वचन सुनते ही कृपालु राम ने प्रसन्न होकर हाथ में भयानक बाण लिए।

Hearing Vibhishana’s words, compassionate Rama joyfully took fearsome arrows in his hand.
