फिर वानरों के समूहों को बुला लिया और कहा: तुम सब मेरी एक विनती सुनो।

Then he summoned the monkey bands and said, ‘All of you, hear a request of mine.’

राम के कमल-जैसे चरण हृदय में धारण करो। हे रीछो और वानरो, एक अद्भुत कार्य करो।

Hold Rama’s lotus feet in your hearts. Bears and monkeys, perform a wondrous feat.

हे वानरों के विशाल दलों, दौड़ो और वृक्षों तथा पर्वतों के ढेर ले आओ।

Mighty bands of monkeys, hurry and bring masses of trees and mountains.

यह सुनकर वानर और रीछ हुंकार करते हुए चले: ‘प्रताप के पुंज रघुवीर की जय!’

Hearing this, the monkeys and bears set off with loud cries: ‘Victory to Rama, the embodiment of might!’

वे बहुत ऊँचे पर्वतों और वृक्षों को सहज खेल की तरह उठा लेते हैं।

They lift exceedingly tall mountains and trees with playful ease.

उन्हें लाकर नल और नील को देते हैं; वे दोनों उन्हें व्यवस्थित करके सेतु बनाते हैं।

They bring them and give them to Nala and Nila; those two arrange them and construct the bridge.
