उनके सुनहरे शरीर पर तेज शोभित हुआ, मानो वे दूसरे पर्वतराज हों।

Radiance shone upon his golden body, as though he were another king of mountains.

बार-बार सिंह जैसी गर्जना करके हनुमान कहते हैं, ‘मैं खारे समुद्र को सहज ही लाँघ सकता हूँ।’ दिए ‘नाषउँ’ का पाठ संदिग्ध है।

Roaring repeatedly like a lion, Hanuman says, ‘I can cross the salty ocean with ease.’ The supplied ‘नाषउँ’ is uncertain.

‘रावण को उसके सहायकों समेत मारकर, त्रिकूट पर्वत को उखाड़कर यहाँ ले आ सकता हूँ।’

‘I can kill Ravana along with his helpers, uproot Mount Trikuta, and bring it here.’

‘हे जामवंत, मैं आपसे पूछता हूँ; मुझे उचित सलाह दीजिए।’

‘Jambavan, I ask you: please give me appropriate guidance.’

‘हे प्रिय, तुम जाकर इतना ही करो: सीता को देखो और लौटकर उनका समाचार बताओ।’

‘Dear one, do only this: go, see Sita, and return to report news of her.’

तब कमलनयन राम अपने भुजबल से कार्य करेंगे; वानर सेना कौतुक के लिए साथ होगी। यह पंक्ति अगले कथन में पूरी होती है।

Then lotus-eyed Rama will act by the strength of his own arms, with the monkey army accompanying him for the spectacle. The thought continues in the following statement.

राम वानर सेना के साथ राक्षसों का संहार करके सीता को ले आएँगे।

With the monkey army, Rama will destroy the demons and bring Sita back.

देवता और नारद आदि मुनि उनके उस सुंदर यश का वर्णन करेंगे जो तीनों लोकों को पवित्र करता है।

The gods and sages such as Narada will celebrate his glorious fame, which sanctifies the three worlds.

उस यश को सुनने, गाने, कहने और समझने से मनुष्य परम पद प्राप्त करता है।

By hearing, singing, recounting, and understanding that glory, a person attains the supreme state.

रघुवीर के चरणकमलों के भौंरे रूपी दास तुलसी यह यश गाते हैं।

The servant Tulsi, like a bee at Rama’s lotus feet, sings this glory.

जो पुरुष और स्त्रियाँ संसार-बंधन की औषधि रूप रघुनाथ का यश सुनते हैं—

Those men and women who hear Rama’s glory, a remedy for worldly bondage—

त्रिशिरा के शत्रु राम उनके सभी मनोरथ सिद्ध करेंगे।

Rama, the foe of Trishira, will fulfill all their aspirations.

जिनका शरीर नीले कमल जैसा श्याम है और जिनकी शोभा करोड़ों कामदेवों से बढ़कर है—

Whose body is dark like a blue lotus, and whose beauty surpasses that of millions of love-gods—

उन राम के गुणों का समूह सुनिए, जिनका नाम पापरूपी पक्षियों का वधिक है।

Listen to the many virtues of that Rama, whose name is a hunter that slays the birds of sin.
