किष्किन्धाकाण्ड 4.28

मुनि ने कहा: त्रेतायुग में ब्रह्म मनुष्य का शरीर धारण करेंगे; उनकी पत्नी को राक्षसों का राजा हर ले जाएगा।

The sage said: In the Treta age, Brahman will assume a human body; the king of demons will abduct his wife.

प्रभु उनकी खोज में दूत भेजेंगे; उनसे मिलने पर तुम पवित्र हो जाओगे।

The Lord will send messengers to search for her; meeting them, you will become purified.

तुम्हारे पंख फिर उग आएँगे; चिंता मत करना। तुम उन दूतों को सीता का पता बता देना।

Your wings will grow again; do not worry. Show those messengers where Sita is.

मुनि की वाणी आज सत्य हो गई। मेरी बात सुनकर प्रभु राम का कार्य करो।

The sage's words have come true today. Listen to my words and carry out Lord Rama's task.

त्रिकूट पर्वत के ऊपर लंका बसी है; वहाँ रावण स्वभावतः निःशंक रहता है।

Lanka stands upon Mount Trikuta; Ravana lives there naturally free of fear.

वहाँ अशोक का उपवन है, जहाँ सीता बैठी हुई शोक में डूबी हैं।

There is an ashoka grove there, where Sita sits immersed in sorrow.

मैं उन्हें देख सकता हूँ, तुम नहीं; गिद्ध की दृष्टि बहुत दूर तक जाती है।

I can see her, but you cannot; a vulture's sight reaches very far.

मैं बूढ़ा हो गया हूँ; नहीं तो तुम्हारी कुछ सहायता करता।

I have grown old; otherwise, I would have given you some help.
