किष्किन्धाकाण्ड 4.26

अंगद की बात सुनकर वीर वानर बोल नहीं पाते; उनकी आँखों से आँसू बहते हैं।

Hearing Angada’s words, the valiant monkeys cannot speak; tears flow from their eyes.

वे एक क्षण चिंता में डूबे रहे; फिर सब ऐसा कहने लगे।

For a moment they remained absorbed in distress; then they all began to speak thus.

हे विवेकी युवराज, हम सीता की खबर पाए बिना वापस नहीं जाएँगे।

O discerning crown prince, we will not return without obtaining news of Sita.

ऐसा कहकर सब वानर खारे समुद्र के तट पर गए और कुश घास बिछाकर बैठ गए।

Saying this, all the monkeys went to the shore of the salt ocean and sat down after spreading sacred grass.

अंगद का दुःख देखकर जामवंत विशेष उपदेश देने वाली कथा कहते हैं।

Seeing Angada’s distress, Jambavan tells a story offering particular instruction.

हे पुत्र, राम को मनुष्य मत मानो; उन्हें निर्गुण ब्रह्म, अजेय और अजन्मा जानो।

Dear son, do not regard Rama as a mere human; know him as Brahman beyond attributes, unconquerable and unborn.
