फिर धीरज धरकर हनुमान ने स्तुति की। अपने स्वामी को पहचानकर उनके हृदय में हर्ष हुआ।

Then, regaining composure, Hanuman offered praise. Recognizing his own Lord, he rejoiced in his heart.

हे स्वामी, मेरा पूछना उचित था; पर आप साधारण मनुष्य की तरह क्यों पूछते हैं?

Master, it was reasonable for me to ask; but why do you ask like an ordinary human?

आपकी माया के वश में मैं भूला हुआ भटकता हूँ; इसी कारण, हे प्रभु, मैंने आपको नहीं पहचाना।

Under the sway of your maya, I wander in bewilderment; that is why, Lord, I did not recognize you.

एक तो मैं मंदबुद्धि, मोह के वश में, कुटिल हृदय वाला और अज्ञानी हूँ।

For one thing, I am dull-witted, subject to delusion, crooked-hearted, and ignorant.

ऊपर से, हे प्रभु, दीनों के बंधु भगवान, आपने मुझे भुला दिया।

Moreover, Lord, divine friend of the distressed, you have forgotten me.
