बालकाण्ड 1.36

बालकों पर सदा स्नेह रखिए और हे मुनि, मुझे भी दर्शन देते रहिए।

Always show affection to the boys, and, O sage, continue to grant me your presence as well.

ऐसा कहकर राजा अपने पुत्रों और रानी सहित मुनि के चरणों में गिर पड़े; उनके मुख से वाणी नहीं निकलती थी।

Saying this, the king, with his sons and queen, fell at the sage’s feet; no words came from his mouth.

ब्राह्मण मुनि ने अनेक प्रकार के आशीर्वाद दिए और प्रस्थान किया। उस प्रेम के व्यवहार का वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता।

The Brahmin sage gave blessings in many ways and departed. The manner in which their love was expressed cannot be described.

राम सब भाइयों के साथ प्रेमपूर्वक मुनि को पहुँचाने गए और उनकी अनुमति पाकर लौट आए।

Rama lovingly escorted the sage with all his brothers, then returned after receiving his permission.

राम का सुंदर रूप, राजा दशरथ की भक्ति और विवाह का उत्साह तथा आनंद—इन सबकी मुनि मन-ही-मन प्रशंसा कर रहे थे।

Rama’s beauty, King Dasharatha’s devotion, and the wedding’s excitement and joy—all these the sage was praising inwardly.

गाधि-कुल के चंद्रमा विश्वामित्र प्रसन्न होकर जाते हुए इन सबकी मन-ही-मन सराहना करते रहे।

Vishvamitra, the moon of Gadhi’s lineage, departed joyfully, praising all these things within his heart.
