राजा के स्वभावतः मनोहर वचन सुनकर सोने और रत्नों से जड़े पलंग बिछवाए गए।

Hearing the king’s naturally gracious words, beds inlaid with gold and gems were prepared.

उन पर गाय के दूध के फेन जैसी सुंदर, कोमल और सजी हुई अनेक श्वेत चादरें थीं।

There were many beautiful, soft, finely arranged white bedcovers, like the foam of cow’s milk.

उत्तम तकिए ऐसे थे कि उनका वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता; रत्नजटित कक्ष में पुष्पमालाएँ और सुगंध थी।

The excellent pillows were beyond description; the gem-adorned chamber contained flower garlands and fragrance.

रत्नों के दीप और अत्यंत सुंदर चँदोवा था। उसकी शोभा कही नहीं जा सकती; जिसने देखी, वही जानता है।

There were gem lamps and an exceptionally beautiful canopy. Their splendor cannot be expressed; only one who saw it knows.

सुंदर सेज सजाकर राम को उठाया और प्रेमपूर्वक पलंग पर लिटाया।

After arranging a lovely bed, they helped Rama up and lovingly laid him on it.

फिर भाइयों को बार-बार आज्ञा दी गई; उन्होंने अपनी-अपनी सेज पर शयन किया।

The brothers were then repeatedly told to retire, and they lay down on their respective beds.
