हे रघुवंशरूपी कमलवन के सूर्य और दानवकुलरूपी घने वन को जलाने वाली अग्नि, आपकी जय हो!

Glory to you, the sun to the lotus grove of Raghu’s dynasty and the fire that burns the dense forest of demon clans!

देवताओं, ब्राह्मणों और गायों का हित करने वाले, आपकी जय हो! अहंकार, मोह, क्रोध और भ्रम हरने वाले, आपकी जय हो!

Glory to you, benefactor of gods, Brahmins, and cows! Glory to you, remover of pride, attachment, anger, and delusion!

आप विनय, शील, करुणा और सद्गुणों के सागर हैं। आपकी जय हो; आपकी वाणी की रचना अत्यंत सुरुचिपूर्ण है।

You are an ocean of humility, good conduct, compassion, and virtues. Glory to you, whose speech is most elegantly composed!

आप सेवकों को सुख देने वाले हैं और आपके सभी अंग सुंदर हैं। आपकी जय हो; आपके शरीर की शोभा करोड़ों कामदेवों जैसी है।

You bring joy to your servants, and all your limbs are beautiful. Glory to you, whose bodily beauty is like that of millions of love gods!
