मुनि ने कहा, ‘राम, मेरा क्रोध कैसे दूर हो? तुम्हारा छोटा भाई अभी भी अनुचित ढंग से देख रहा है।’

The sage said, ‘Rama, how can my anger subside? Your younger brother is still looking at me in an improper manner.’

यदि मैंने इसके गले पर कुठार नहीं चलाया, तो मैंने क्रोध किया ही किसलिए?

If I do not strike his neck with my axe, what was the point of my becoming angry?

मेरे कुठार की भयंकर गति सुनकर राजाओं की स्त्रियों के गर्भ गिर जाते हैं।

Hearing of the dreadful action of my axe, kings' wives miscarry.

फिर भी, परशु के रहते मैं अपने शत्रु इस राजकुमार को जीवित देख रहा हूँ।

Yet, with my axe still at hand, I see this enemy prince alive.
