हलचल देखकर नगर की स्त्रियाँ व्याकुल हो गईं; सब मिलकर राजाओं को गालियाँ देने लगीं।

उसी समय शिव का धनुष टूटने की बात सुनकर भृगुकुलरूपी कमल के सूर्य परशुराम आए—यहाँ ‘आयसु’ का पाठ अनिश्चित है।
