उसी समय सीता वहाँ आईं; माता ने उन्हें गिरिजा की पूजा के लिए भेजा था।

At that moment Sita arrived there; her mother had sent her to worship Parvati.

साथ में सभी सुंदर और समझदार सखियाँ थीं; वे मनोहर वाणी में गीत गा रही थीं।

All her beautiful, discerning companions were with her, singing songs in lovely voices.

सरोवर के पास गिरिजा का मंदिर शोभायमान था; उसकी शोभा वर्णन से परे थी और उसे देखकर मन मोहित हो जाता था।

Parvati’s temple stood resplendent near the lake; its beauty was beyond description and captivated the heart at the sight.

सखियों सहित सरोवर में स्नान करके सीता प्रसन्न मन से गौरी के मंदिर गईं।

After bathing in the lake with her companions, Sita went joyfully to Gauri’s temple.

उन्होंने अत्यंत प्रेम से पूजा की और अपने अनुरूप सुंदर वर माँगा।

She worshipped with deep affection and asked for a handsome bridegroom suited to her.
