‘जितने भी प्राणी हैं, ये सबको प्रिय हैं।’ यह वाणी सुनकर राम मन ही मन मुस्कराते हैं।

‘These two are dear to every living being.’ Hearing these words, Rama smiles inwardly.

ये रघुकुल के मणि, दशरथ के पुत्र हैं। राजा ने मेरे हित के लिए इन्हें भेजा है।

They are jewels of Raghu’s lineage, sons of Dasharatha. The king sent them for my benefit.

राम और लक्ष्मण दोनों श्रेष्ठ भाई हैं, जो सौंदर्य, सदाचार और बल के धाम हैं।

Rama and Lakshmana are two excellent brothers, abodes of beauty, noble conduct, and strength.

इन्होंने यज्ञ की रक्षा की और युद्ध में असुरों को पराजित किया; सारा जगत इसका साक्षी है।

They protected the sacrifice and defeated the demons in battle; the whole world bears witness.
