गला शंख जैसा है और ठोड़ी अत्यंत सुंदर है; मुख पर अनगिनत कामदेवों जैसी सुंदरता छाई है।

His neck resembles a conch, and his chin is very lovely; his face is suffused with the beauty of countless love-gods.

ऊपर और नीचे दो-दो दाँत हैं, और होंठ लाल हैं। नाक और तिलक की शोभा कौन वर्णन कर सकता है?

He has two teeth each above and below, and reddish lips. Who can describe the beauty of his nose and forehead mark?

कान सुंदर और गाल मनोहर हैं; तोतली बोली अत्यंत प्यारी और मधुर है।

His ears are beautiful and his cheeks lovely; his lisping speech is exceedingly dear and sweet.

बाल चिकने, घुँघराले और घने हैं; माँ उन्हें अनेक प्रकार से सजाकर सँवारती है।

His hair is smooth, curly, and thick; his mother arranges and dresses it in many ways.

माँ शरीर पर पीला झबला पहनाती है; घुटनों और हाथों के बल उनका चलना मुझे सुहाता है।

His mother dresses him in a yellow infant's tunic; his crawling on knees and hands delights me.

वेद और शेष भी उस रूप का वर्णन नहीं कर सकते; जिसने स्वप्न में भी उसे देखा है, वही उसे जानता है।

Even the Vedas and Shesha cannot describe that beauty; only one who has seen it, even in a dream, knows it.

वे सुख के समुच्चय, मोह से परे और ज्ञान, वाणी तथा इंद्रियों की पहुँच से परे हैं।

He is the plenitude of bliss, beyond delusion and beyond the reach of knowledge, speech, and the senses.

फिर भी माता-पिता के परम प्रेम के वश होकर वे पवित्र बाल-लीलाएँ करते हैं।

Yet, moved by his parents' supreme love, he performs holy acts of childhood.
