राम के हृदय में अनुग्रह का चंद्रमा प्रकाशमान था; उनका मनोहर हास उसकी किरणों की तरह उसे प्रकट करता था।

The moon of grace shone in Rama’s heart; his charming smile, like its rays, revealed it.

कभी गोद में, कभी सुंदर पालने में, माता उन्हें ‘प्यारे ललना’ कहकर दुलारती थीं।

Sometimes in her lap, sometimes in a fine cradle, his mother caressed him, calling him her darling child.

जो सर्वव्यापक ब्रह्म, निर्मल, निर्गुण और क्रीड़ा से परे हैं—

The all-pervading Brahman, stainless, beyond qualities, and beyond play—

वही अजन्मा प्रभु प्रेम और भक्ति के वश होकर कौसल्या की गोद में हैं।

That same unborn Lord, yielding to love and devotion, is in Kausalya’s lap.
