दुष्ट, चोर और जुआरी बहुत बढ़ गए; वे दूसरों के धन और स्त्रियों पर ललचाने वाले थे।

Wicked people, thieves, and gamblers multiplied greatly; they lusted after others’ wealth and wives.

वे माता, पिता और देवताओं का सम्मान नहीं करते और साधुओं से अपनी सेवा करवाते हैं।

They honor neither mother, father, nor the gods, and make holy people serve them.

हे भवानी, जिन प्राणियों का ऐसा आचरण है, उन सबको राक्षस समझो।

O Bhavani, regard all beings whose conduct is like this as demons.

धर्म की अत्यधिक हानि देखकर पृथ्वी बहुत भयभीत और व्याकुल हो गई।

Seeing the severe decline of righteousness, the Earth became deeply frightened and distressed.

पृथ्वी का भाव था: मुझे पर्वतों, नदियों और समुद्रों का भार उतना भारी नहीं लगता, जितना दूसरों का अहित करने वाला एक व्यक्ति।

The Earth’s thought was: mountains, rivers, and oceans do not weigh upon me as heavily as even one person who harms others.

पृथ्वी समस्त धर्म को उलटा होता देखती है, लेकिन रावण के भय से डरी हुई कुछ कह नहीं सकती।

The Earth sees all righteousness overturned, but, terrified of Ravana, she cannot speak out.
