उनका मरण एक उपाय से हो सकता है। उसे समझाकर कहता हूँ; अब वही सुनो।

There is one way to bring about their death. I will explain it; listen now.

ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराना, यज्ञ, हवन और श्राद्ध—इन सबमें जाकर तुम बाधा डालो।

Go and obstruct all these: feeding Brahmins, sacrifices, fire offerings, and ancestral rites.

भूख से क्षीण और बलहीन हुए देवता सहज ही आकर मिल जाएँगे।

Wasted by hunger and powerless, the gods will readily come within reach.

तब मैं उन्हें मारूँगा, या अच्छी तरह अपने वश में करके छोड़ दूँगा।

Then I will kill them, or release them after bringing them fully under my control.
