उन्हें वरदान देकर ब्रह्मा चले गए। वे प्रसन्न होकर अपने घर आए।

Having granted them boons, Brahma departed. They returned home rejoicing.

मय की पुत्री का नाम मंदोदरी था। वह अत्यंत सुंदर और स्त्रियों में श्रेष्ठ थी।

Maya's daughter was named Mandodari. She was exceedingly beautiful, a jewel among women.

मय ने यह जानकर कि रावण राक्षसों का राजा होगा, उसी पुत्री को लाकर उसे विवाह में दिया।

Knowing that Ravana would become king of the demons, Maya brought that daughter and gave her to him in marriage.

अच्छी पत्नी पाकर रावण प्रसन्न हुआ। फिर उसने जाकर दोनों भाइयों का विवाह कराया।

Ravana rejoiced at obtaining a good wife. Then he went and arranged marriages for both his brothers.

समुद्र के बीच त्रिकूट नाम का एक पर्वत था, जो ब्रह्मा द्वारा निर्मित, दुर्गम और अत्यंत विशाल था।

In the midst of the ocean stood a mountain called Trikuta, created by Brahma, difficult to approach and immense.

उसी को मय दानव ने फिर सँवारा; वहाँ सोने से बने, मणियों से सुशोभित असंख्य भवन थे।

Maya the demon architect further adorned that place, with countless golden buildings embellished with gems.
