पुरोहित ने छह रसों और चार प्रकारों वाला भोज तैयार किया, जैसा वेदों में वर्णित है।

The priest prepared a feast comprising six tastes and four kinds of food, as described in the Vedas.

उसने माया से रसोई तैयार की; व्यंजन इतने अधिक थे कि कोई उन्हें गिन नहीं सकता था।

He prepared the meal through illusion; the dishes were so numerous that no one could count them.

उसने विभिन्न वन्य पशुओं का मांस पकाया; उस दुष्ट ने उसमें ब्राह्मण का मांस मिला दिया।

He cooked the flesh of various wild animals; the wicked man mixed a Brahmin’s flesh into it.

सभी ब्राह्मणों को भोजन के लिए बुलाया गया और उनके पैर धोकर उन्हें आदरपूर्वक बैठाया गया।

All the Brahmins were invited to eat, their feet were washed, and they were respectfully seated.

जैसे ही राजा भोजन परोसने लगा, उसी समय आकाशवाणी हुई।

Just as the king began serving the meal, a voice sounded from the sky.

हे ब्राह्मणों, उठो, उठो और अपने घर जाओ! बड़ी हानि का संकट है; यह भोजन मत खाओ।

Brahmins, rise, rise and go home! There is great danger of harm; do not eat this food.
