वे साग, फल और कंद का आहार करते हैं और सच्चिदानंद ब्रह्म का स्मरण करते हैं।

They eat greens, fruits, and tubers, and remember Brahman, whose nature is existence, consciousness, and bliss.

फिर वे हरि की प्राप्ति के लिए तप करने लगे; जल को ही आधार बनाकर मूल और फल त्याग दिए।

Then they began austerities to attain Hari, giving up roots and fruits and subsisting on water alone.

उनके हृदय में निरंतर यही अभिलाषा रहती है कि अपने नेत्रों से उन्हीं परम प्रभु को देखें।

Their hearts continually hold the desire to see that very supreme Lord with their own eyes.

वे प्रभु गुणों से परे, अखंड, अनंत और अनादि हैं, जिनका परम तत्त्व के साधक चिंतन करते हैं।

That Lord is beyond qualities, indivisible, infinite, and beginningless—the one contemplated by seekers of ultimate truth.

वेद जिनका निरूपण ‘यह नहीं, यह नहीं’ कहकर करते हैं, वे अपने स्वरूप में आनंदमय, उपाधिरहित और अनुपम हैं।

The Vedas describe him as ‘not this, not this’; he is bliss in his own nature, free of limiting conditions, and incomparable.

जिनके अंश से अनेक शंभु, ब्रह्मा और भगवान विष्णु उत्पन्न होते हैं।

From whose portion arise many Shivas, Brahmas, and divine Vishnus.
