रघुवंश के राजा राम खोई हुई स्थिति को फिर सँवारने वाले, दीनों पर कृपा करने वाले, सरल और समर्थ स्वामी हैं।

Rama, king of the Raghu line, restores what has been lost, favors the poor and helpless, and is an approachable, powerful lord.

विद्वान ऐसा जानकर हरि के यश का वर्णन करते हैं और अपनी वाणी को पवित्र तथा सफल बनाते हैं।

Knowing this, the wise recount Hari’s glory and make their own speech pure and fruitful.

उसी भरोसे मैं राम के चरणों में सिर झुकाकर रघुपति के गुणों की गाथा कहूँगा।

With that support, I shall bow my head at Rama’s feet and narrate the virtues of the Lord of the Raghu line.

मुनियों ने पहले हरि की कीर्ति गाई है; उसी मार्ग पर चलना मेरे लिए सुगम हो गया है।

The sages have already sung Hari’s glory; walking that same path has become easy for me.

जो बड़ी नदियाँ अत्यंत अपार हैं, उन पर यदि राजा पुल बनवा दें—

If kings have bridges built across great rivers that are immensely difficult to cross—

तो अत्यंत छोटी चींटियाँ भी उन पर चढ़कर बिना परिश्रम उस पार चली जाती हैं।

Then even the tiniest ants can climb onto them and reach the other side without effort.
