कामदेव की कोई कला मुनि नारद पर प्रभाव न डाल सकी; पापी कामदेव अपने ही भय से डर गए।

None of Kama’s arts affected the sage Narada; the sinful god of desire became afraid for himself.

जिसके महान रक्षक लक्ष्मीपति हैं, क्या कोई उसकी सीमा दबाकर लाँघ सकता है?

Can anyone encroach upon the bounds of one whose mighty guardian is Vishnu, Lakshmi’s lord?

कामदेव अपने सहायकों सहित अत्यंत भयभीत होकर मन में हार मान चुके थे।

Kama, together with his helpers, was deeply frightened and had inwardly admitted defeat.

तब कामदेव ने जाकर अत्यंत व्याकुल वचन कहते हुए मुनि नारद के चरण पकड़ लिए।

Then Kama went and clasped the sage Narada’s feet, speaking deeply distressed words.
