नए आम्रवन में विहार करने की अभ्यस्त कोयल क्या करील के वन में शोभा पाती है?

Does a cuckoo accustomed to roaming a fresh mango grove look at home in a forest of karil shrubs?

यह बात हृदय में विचारकर घर में रहो; हे चंद्रमुखी, वन में भारी कष्ट है।

Consider this in your heart and remain at home; O moon-faced one, the forest brings great hardship.

जो स्वाभाविक हितैषी, गुरु और स्वामी की सीख को आदरपूर्वक स्वीकार करके उसका पालन नहीं करता—

Whoever does not respectfully accept and follow the counsel of a natural well-wisher, teacher, or master—

वह हृदय में बहुत पछताता है और उसके हित की हानि अवश्य होती है।

That person deeply regrets it in their heart, and their welfare inevitably suffers.
