गुफाएँ, खोहें, नदियाँ, बड़े नदी-प्रवाह और नाले दुर्गम और अथाह हैं; उन्हें देखा तक नहीं जाता।

Caverns, hollows, rivers, great river courses, and streams are inaccessible and unfathomably deep—one cannot even bear to look at them.

भालू, बाघ, भेड़िए, सिंह और हाथी ऐसी आवाजें करते हैं जिन्हें सुनकर धीरज भाग जाता है।

Bears, tigers, wolves, lions, and elephants make cries that cause courage to flee on hearing them.

धरती पर सोना, पेड़ की छाल के वस्त्र पहनना और कंद, फल तथा जड़ें खाना होगा।

One must sleep on the ground, wear bark garments, and eat tubers, fruits, and roots.

क्या वे भी सदा, हर दिन और हर समय, अनुकूल रूप से मिलेंगे?

Will even those things always be readily available, every day and at every time?
