अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.6

‘मणियों से सुंदर, मनोहर चौक-रचनाएँ बनाओ और बाजार को शीघ्र सजाने के लिए कहो।’

“Create lovely, elegant ceremonial floor designs with gems, and order the marketplace to be decorated promptly.”

‘गणेश, गुरु और कुलदेवता का पूजन करो तथा ब्राह्मणों की सब प्रकार से सेवा करो।’

“Worship Ganesha, the guru, and the family deity, and serve the Brahmins in every way.”

‘ध्वज, पताकाएँ, तोरण और कलश सजाओ; घोड़ों, रथों और हाथियों को भी सज्जित करो।’

“Arrange flags, banners, festoons, and ceremonial pots; adorn the horses, chariots, and elephants as well.”

मुनिश्रेष्ठ के वचनों को आदरपूर्वक सिर पर धारण करके सब अपने-अपने काम में लग गए।
