अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.325

भरत की रहन-सहन, समझ और करनी तथा उनकी भक्ति, वैराग्य और गुणों की निर्मल विभूति का वर्णन करने में—

In describing Bharata’s way of life, understanding, deeds, and the pure splendor of his devotion, detachment, and virtues—

उनका वर्णन करते हुए सभी संकोच में पड़ जाते हैं; शेष, गणेश और सरस्वती की वाणी की भी वहाँ पहुँच नहीं है।

All shrink back in hesitation when describing these qualities; even the speech of Shesha, Ganesha, and Saraswati cannot reach their full extent.

भरत नित्य प्रभु राम की पादुकाओं की पूजा करते हैं; उनका प्रेम हृदय में समाता नहीं है।

Bharata daily worships Lord Rama’s sandals; his love is too great for his heart to contain.

बार-बार आज्ञा माँगकर भरत अनेक प्रकार के राजकाज करते हैं।

Repeatedly seeking permission, Bharata carries out the many kinds of royal business.
