आपकी रीति, सुंदर स्वभाव और महिमा जगत में प्रसिद्ध हैं; वेद और आगम उनका गान करते हैं।

Your ways, gracious nature, and greatness are known throughout the world and sung by the Vedas and Agamas.

क्रूर, कपटी, दुष्ट, दुर्बुद्धि, कलंकित, नीच, शीलहीन, ईश्वर को न मानने वाले और निर्भय होकर बुराई करने वाले भी—

Even those who are cruel, deceitful, wicked, ill-minded, disgraced, base, without moral character, without belief in God, and heedless of wrongdoing—

वे भी आपकी महिमा सुनकर सामने शरण लेने आए, तो एक बार प्रणाम करने पर ही आपने उन्हें अपना लिया।

Even they, hearing of your greatness, came before you for refuge; with a single bow, you accepted them as your own.

उनके दोष देखकर भी आपने कभी उन्हें हृदय में नहीं रखा; उनके गुण सुनकर साधुओं की सभा में उनका बखान किया।

Even seeing their faults, you never held them in your heart; hearing their virtues, you praised them in the assembly of the virtuous.

ऐसा कौन स्वामी है जो सेवक को सम्मान देकर स्वयं उसके लिए सारी सामग्री और व्यवस्था जुटाता है?

What master so honors a servant and himself makes all the arrangements and provides everything needed?

आप अपने किए उपकारों को सपने में भी नहीं गिनते, और सेवक के संकोच तथा चिंता को अपने हृदय में रखते हैं।

You do not reckon your own deeds of kindness even in a dream, and you take the servant’s hesitation and anxiety to heart.
