जगत बुरा है, भले तो एक आप ही हैं, हे स्वामी। कहिए, कोई किसकी भलाई से भला होता है?

The world is unkind; you alone are good, Master. Tell me, through whose goodness does anyone become good?

हे देव, आपका स्वभाव कल्पवृक्ष जैसा है; वह किसी के प्रति कभी न स्वयं अनुकूल होता है, न प्रतिकूल।

Lord, your nature is like the wish-fulfilling tree: it is never of itself partial or hostile toward anyone.

उस वृक्ष को पहचानकर उसके निकट जाने पर उसकी छाया सब चिंताओं को शांत करती है।

Recognizing that tree and going near it, one finds its shade dispels every care.

जगत में राजा हो या निर्धन, भला हो या बुरा—उससे माँगने पर अपना मनचाहा फल पाता है।

In this world, king or pauper, good or bad, whoever asks of it receives what they desire.
