सखा की बात सुनकर और वृक्ष देखकर भरत के नेत्रों में आँसू उमड़ आए।

Hearing his friend's words and looking at the tree, Bharata's eyes welled up with tears.

प्रणाम करते हुए दोनों भाई आगे चले; उनके प्रेम का वर्णन करते हुए सरस्वती भी संकोच करने लगीं।

The two brothers proceeded, offering reverence; even Sarasvati faltered in describing their love.

राम के चरणचिह्न देखकर वे ऐसे हर्षित होते हैं, मानो किसी निर्धन ने पारस पा लिया हो।

Seeing Rama's footprints, they rejoice as though a pauper had found the philosopher's stone.

वे उस धूल को सिर पर रखकर हृदय और आँखों से लगाते हैं और राम से मिलने जैसा सुख पाते हैं।

They place that dust on their heads and touch it to their hearts and eyes, finding joy like that of meeting Rama.

भरत की अत्यंत अवर्णनीय दशा देखकर पशु, पक्षी और जड़-बुद्धि वाले जीव भी प्रेम में मग्न हो गए।

Seeing Bharata's utterly indescribable state, animals, birds, and even creatures of dull understanding became absorbed in love.

सखा भी स्नेह से विवश होकर मार्ग भूल गया; देवता सही मार्ग बताकर फूल बरसाते हैं।

The friend too, overwhelmed by affection, forgot the way; the gods point out the right path and shower flowers.
