वन प्रदेश में मुनियों के अनेक आश्रम हैं, मानो बहुत-से बड़े नगर, नगर, गाँव और छोटे गाँव हों।

The forest region has numerous hermitages, like a multitude of cities, towns, villages, and hamlets.

अनेक प्रकार के बहुत-से विचित्र पक्षी और पशु हैं; इस प्रजारूपी समुदाय का वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता।

There are abundant, varied birds and beasts of many kinds; this community, like a kingdom’s subjects, is beyond description.

गैंडे, हाथी, सिंह, बाघ, जंगली सूअर, भैंसे और बैल देखकर भरत ने इस साज-सज्जा की सराहना की।

Seeing rhinoceroses, elephants, lions, tigers, wild boars, buffaloes, and bulls, Bharata admired this array.

वे वैर छोड़कर एक साथ चरते हैं; जहाँ-तहाँ मानो चार अंगों वाली सेना है।

Abandoning enmity, they graze together, as though a fourfold army were stationed everywhere.

झरने झरते हैं और मदमत्त हाथी गरजते हैं, मानो नगाड़े अनेक प्रकार से बज रहे हों।

Waterfalls cascade and elephants in must trumpet, as though kettledrums were sounding in many ways.

चकवे, चकोर, चातक, तोते, कोयलों के समूह और हंस प्रसन्न मन से मधुर स्वर में बोलते हैं।

Ruddy shelducks, chukars, pied cuckoos, parrots, flocks of cuckoos, and swans call sweetly with joyful hearts.
