अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.21

मुनि के वचन सुनकर सभासद हर्षित हुए। देवताओं ने ‘साधु!’ कहकर सराहना की और फूल बरसाए।

Hearing the sage’s words, those assembled rejoiced. The gods applauded with cries of ‘Well said!’ and showered flowers.

आकाश और प्रयाग में ‘धन्य! धन्य!’ की ध्वनि गूँजी। उसे बार-बार सुनकर भरत प्रेम में मग्न हो गए।

Cries of ‘Blessed! Blessed!’ resounded in the sky and in Prayaga. Hearing them repeatedly, Bharata became absorbed in love.

भरत का शरीर रोमांचित था, हृदय में राम और सीता थे, और कमल जैसे नेत्र आँसुओं से भरे थे।

Bharata’s body thrilled with emotion; Rama and Sita were in his heart, and his lotus-like eyes were filled with tears.

मुनियों की मंडली को प्रणाम करके भरत भावावेश से रुँधे स्वर में बोले।

Bowing to the assembly of sages, Bharata spoke in a voice choked with emotion.
