जब भरत ने श्रृंगवेरपुर देखा, तब स्नेह से उनके सभी अंग शिथिल हो गए।

When Bharata saw Shringaverapura, all his limbs grew weak with affection.

निषादराज को अपनी बाँह का सहारा दिए भरत ऐसे सुशोभित थे, मानो विनय और अनुराग ने शरीर धारण किया हो।

Bharata looked graceful with his arm supported by the Nishada chief, as though humility and loving devotion had taken bodily form.

इस प्रकार भरत ने सारी सेना सहित जाकर जगत को पवित्र करने वाली गंगा के दर्शन किए।

Thus Bharata went with the entire army and beheld the Ganga, which purifies the world.

भरत ने रामघाट को प्रणाम किया; उनका मन ऐसा आनंदमग्न हो गया, मानो राम मिल गए हों।

Bharata bowed to Rama’s bathing ghat; his heart became absorbed in joy, as though he had met Rama.

नगर के पुरुष और स्त्रियाँ ब्रह्ममय जल देखकर प्रसन्न होकर प्रणाम करते हैं।

The men and women of the city bow reverently, delighted at seeing the water imbued with Brahman.

स्नान करके वे हाथ जोड़कर रामचंद्र के चरणों में भरपूर प्रेम माँगते हैं।

After bathing, they join their hands and ask for abundant love for Ramachandra’s feet.
