अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.141

सीता और लक्ष्मण जिस प्रकार सुख पाते हैं, श्रीराम वही करते और वही कहते हैं।

Rama does and says whatever brings comfort to Sita and Lakshmana.

राम पुरानी कथाएँ और कहानियाँ कहते हैं; लक्ष्मण और सीता बहुत सुख अनुभव करते हुए सुनते हैं।

Rama tells ancient tales and stories; Lakshmana and Sita listen with great delight.

जब-जब राम अयोध्या को याद करते हैं, तब-तब उनके नेत्र आँसुओं से भर जाते हैं।

Whenever Rama remembers Ayodhya, his eyes fill with tears.

माता, पिता, परिजन, भाइयों और भरत के स्नेह, शील तथा सेवा को याद करके—

Remembering his mother, father, family and brothers, and Bharata’s affection, noble character and service—

करुणा के समुद्र प्रभु राम दुखी हो जाते हैं, पर प्रतिकूल समय का विचार करके धैर्य रखते हैं।

The Lord Rama, an ocean of compassion, becomes sorrowful, but maintains composure considering the adverse circumstances.

राम की दशा देखकर सीता और लक्ष्मण व्याकुल हो जाते हैं, जैसे छाया मनुष्य का अनुसरण करती है।

Seeing Rama’s condition, Sita and Lakshmana become distressed, just as a shadow follows a person.
