तो मैं उस शोभा का वर्णन किस प्रकार करूँ? क्या छोटे तालाब के कछुए मंदर पर्वत को उठा सकते हैं?

How, then, can I describe that beauty? Can turtles of a small pond bear Mount Mandara?

लक्ष्मण कर्म, मन और वाणी से सेवा करते हैं; उनके शील और प्रेम का वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता।

Lakshmana serves through deeds, mind, and speech; his noble conduct and love cannot be adequately described.

क्षण-क्षण सीता और राम के चरणों को देखकर और अपने प्रति उनका प्रेम जानकर—

Moment by moment, beholding Sita’s and Rama’s feet and recognizing their love for him—

लक्ष्मण स्वप्न में भी भाइयों, माता, पिता और घर की ओर मन नहीं लगाते।

Lakshmana does not turn his mind toward his brothers, mother, father, or home, even in dreams.
