अयोध्याकाण्ड 2.125

हे मुनियों के स्वामी, आप भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य के ज्ञाता हैं; विश्व आपके लिए मानो हाथ में रखे बेर के समान स्पष्ट है।

O lord of sages, you perceive past, present, and future; the universe is as clear to you as a jujube fruit held in your hand.

ऐसा कहकर प्रभु राम ने पूरी कथा सुनाई कि रानी कैकेयी ने किस-किस प्रकार उन्हें वनवास दिलाया।

Having said this, Lord Rama related the whole account of how Queen Kaikeyi had brought about his exile to the forest.

पिता के वचन का पालन, फिर माता का हित, और भरत जैसे भाई का राजा होना—

Fulfilling my father's word, serving my mother's interests, and having a brother like Bharata as king—

और हे प्रभु, मुझे आपके दर्शन मिलना—यह सब मेरे पुण्य का फल है।

And, revered sir, my being able to see you—all this is the fruit of my merit.
