कुछ लोग राम को देखकर प्रेम में भर जाते हैं और उन्हें निहारते हुए उनके साथ-साथ चलते जाते हैं।

Some, filled with love on seeing Rama, keep walking alongside him, gazing at him.

कुछ लोग नेत्रों के मार्ग से उनकी छवि हृदय में उतार लेते हैं और उनके तन, मन तथा वाणी शिथिल हो जाते हैं; ‘बर’ का आशय अनिश्चित है।

Some draw their image into the heart through their eyes, and their bodies, minds, and speech become subdued; the sense of ‘बर’ is uncertain.

कुछ लोग बरगद की अच्छी छाया देखकर वहाँ कोमल घास और पत्ते बिछाते हैं।

Some, seeing pleasant shade beneath a banyan tree, spread soft grass and leaves there.

वे कहते हैं: थोड़ी देर विश्राम करके थकान दूर कीजिए; फिर अभी चले जाइए या प्रातः।

They say: rest a little and relieve your fatigue; then depart now or in the morning.
