मार्ग में बसे जो नगर और गाँव हैं, उनसे नागलोक और देवलोक के नगर भी ईर्ष्या करते हैं।

The cities of the serpent realm and heaven envy the towns and villages situated along the route.

किस पुण्यात्मा ने इन्हें किस शुभ घड़ी में बसाया था! ये धन्य, पुण्यमय और अत्यंत सुंदर हैं।

What virtuous person founded them, and at what auspicious hour! They are blessed, filled with merit, and exceedingly lovely.

जहाँ-जहाँ राम के चरण चलते हैं, उन स्थानों की बराबरी अमरावती भी नहीं कर सकती।

Wherever Rama's feet pass, even Amaravati cannot equal those places.

मार्ग के पास रहने वाले लोग मानो पुण्य के पुंज हैं; स्वर्ग के निवासी उन्हीं की प्रशंसा करते हैं।

Those living near the route are embodiments of accumulated merit; the inhabitants of heaven praise them.

जो सीता और लक्ष्मण सहित मेघ के समान श्याम राम को भरपूर आँखों से देखते हैं—

Those who gaze to their eyes' content upon cloud-dark Rama, accompanied by Sita and Lakshmana—

जिन सरोवरों और नदियों में राम स्नान करते हैं, उन्हीं की प्रशंसा दिव्य सरोवर और नदियाँ करते हैं।

The celestial lakes and rivers praise those lakes and rivers in which Rama bathes.
