हे सखी, बताओ, वे माता-पिता कैसे हैं जिन्होंने ऐसे बालकों को वन भेज दिया?

Tell me, friend, what sort of parents are they who sent such children into the forest?

राम, लक्ष्मण और सीता का रूप देखकर स्त्री-पुरुष प्रेम से व्याकुल हो जाते हैं।

Beholding the beauty of Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita, men and women become overwhelmed with affection.

तब रघुवंश के वीर राम ने अपने मित्र को अनेक प्रकार से समझाया।

Then Rama, the hero of Raghu’s lineage, counselled his friend in many ways.

राम की आज्ञा आदरपूर्वक सिर पर धारण करके वह अपने घर चला गया।

Reverently accepting Rama’s command, he departed for his home.
