उन्हें अवध का उत्सव अच्छा नहीं लगता, जैसे चोर को चाँदनी रात नहीं सुहाती।

Ayodhya's celebration does not please them, just as a moonlit night does not please a thief.

देवता सरस्वती को बुलाकर विनती करते हैं और बार-बार उनके चरण पकड़कर गिरते हैं।

The gods summon Saraswati and plead with her, repeatedly clasping her feet and falling before her.

हे माता, हमारी बड़ी विपत्ति देखकर आज वही कीजिए जिससे राम राज्य छोड़कर वन जाएँ और देवताओं के सारे कार्य पूरे हों।

Mother, seeing our great distress, act today so that Rama leaves the kingdom for the forest and all the gods' purposes are accomplished.

राम राज्य छोड़कर वन जाएँ और देवताओं के सभी कार्य पूरे हों।

May Rama leave the kingdom and go to the forest, and may all the gods' purposes be accomplished.
