अपनी मनोरथरूपी बेल को फलित देखकर माताएँ और सभी सखी-सहेलियाँ आनंदित हैं।

The mothers and all their companions rejoice to see the vine of their wishes bearing fruit.

राम के रूप, गुण, शील और स्वभाव को देखकर और सुनकर राजा दशरथ अत्यंत प्रसन्न होते हैं।

Seeing and hearing of Rama's beauty, virtues, conduct, and disposition, King Dasharatha becomes deeply delighted.

सबके हृदय में ऐसी अभिलाषा है; वे शिव को प्रसन्न करने की प्रार्थना करते हुए कहते हैं:

Such is the wish in everyone's heart; praying to propitiate Shiva, they say:

राजा अपने जीवित रहते ही राम को युवराज का पद दें।

May the king confer the position of crown prince upon Rama while he himself is still alive.
