अरण्यकाण्ड 3.9

मुनियों ने कहा: ‘स्वामी, जानते हुए भी क्यों पूछते हैं? आप सब देखने वाले और सबके भीतर की बात जानने वाले हैं।’

The sages said, ‘Lord, why do you ask even though you know? You see everything and know what lies within everyone.’

‘राक्षसों के झुंडों ने इन सभी मुनियों को खा लिया।’ यह सुनकर रघुवीर राम की आँखों में आँसू भर आए।

‘Bands of demons devoured all these sages.’ Hearing this, Rama’s eyes filled with tears.

राम ने भुजा उठाकर प्रतिज्ञा की: ‘मैं पृथ्वी को राक्षसों से रहित करूँगा।’

Rama raised his arm and vowed, ‘I will rid the earth of demons.’

राम ने सभी मुनियों के आश्रमों में एक-एक करके जाकर उन्हें सुख दिया।

Rama visited the sages’ ashrams one after another and brought them comfort.
