उसका जल संत के हृदय जैसा निर्मल था और चार सुंदर घाट बने हुए थे।

Its water was pure like a saint's heart, and four lovely bathing ghats had been built.

यहाँ-वहाँ विविध पशु जल पीते थे, मानो किसी उदार व्यक्ति के घर याचकों की भीड़ हो।

Various animals drank water here and there, like a crowd of petitioners at a generous person's home.

कमल-पत्तों की ओट में जल का वास्तविक स्वरूप तुरंत नहीं जाना जा सकता; ‘सबन’ का पाठ कुछ अनिश्चित है।

Hidden by lotus leaves, the water's true nature cannot readily be discerned; the reading ‘सबन’ is somewhat uncertain.

जैसे माया से ढका निर्गुण ब्रह्म दिखाई नहीं देता।

Just as Brahman beyond qualities, veiled by maya, is not seen.

अत्यंत गहरे जल में सभी मछलियाँ समान रूप से सुखी थीं।

All the fish were equally content in the exceedingly deep water.

जैसे धर्मशील लोगों के दिन सुख से युक्त बीतते हैं।

Just as the days of virtuous people pass in happiness.
