अरण्यकाण्ड 3.31

वे ही आप मेरे सामने मेरी आँखों को प्रत्यक्ष दिखाई दे रहे हैं। हे नाथ, फिर मैं किस प्रयोजन से शरीर बनाए रखूँ?

You yourself now stand before me, visible to my eyes. Lord, for what purpose should I keep this body?

नेत्रों में आँसू भरकर राम कहते हैं—हे तात, आपने अपने कर्म से यह गति पाई है।

With tears filling his eyes, Rama says, “Dear elder, you have attained this state through your own deeds.”

जिनके मन में दूसरों का हित बसा रहता है, उनके लिए संसार में कुछ भी दुर्लभ नहीं है।

For those whose hearts are inhabited by concern for others’ welfare, nothing in the world is unattainable.

हे तात, शरीर छोड़कर मेरे धाम जाइए। आपको क्या दूँ? आपके सभी मनोरथ पूर्ण हैं।

Dear elder, leave your body and go to my abode. What can I give you? All your wishes are fulfilled.

हे तात, वहाँ जाकर मेरे पिता से सीता के हरण की बात मत कहिए।

Dear elder, when you go there, do not tell my father about Sita’s abduction.

यदि मैं राम हूँ, तो रावण अपने कुल सहित वहाँ आकर स्वयं यह बात कहेगा।

If I am truly Rama, Ravana will come there with his entire clan and tell him himself.
