मेरी दशा कीट और भृंग के दृष्टांत जैसी हो गई है: मैं जहाँ भी देखता हूँ, दोनों भाई राम और लक्ष्मण दिखाई देते हैं।

My condition has become like that of the insect in the wasp analogy: wherever I look, I see both brothers, Rama and Lakshmana.

हे तात, यदि वे मनुष्य भी हों, तब भी अत्यंत वीर हैं। उनका विरोध करके तुम सफल नहीं हो सकोगे।

Dear sir, even if they are human, they are still exceedingly valiant. You will not succeed by opposing them.

जिसने ताड़का और सुबाहु को मारकर शिव का धनुष तोड़ दिया—

He who killed Tataka and Subahu and broke Shiva’s bow—

और खर, दूषण तथा त्रिशिरा को मार डाला—क्या कोई मनुष्य इतना प्रचंड पराक्रमी हो सकता है?

And slew Khara, Dushana, and Trishira—could a human be so overwhelmingly mighty?
