अरण्यकाण्ड 3.16

फिर इसका फल विषयों से वैराग्य है; तब मेरे धर्म के प्रति अनुराग उत्पन्न होता है।

The resulting fruit is detachment from sense objects; then love for the dharma centered on me arises.

श्रवण आदि नौ प्रकार की भक्ति दृढ़ होती है और मन में मेरी लीला के प्रति अत्यंत प्रेम होता है।

The nine forms of devotion, beginning with listening, become firm, and deep love for my divine play grows in the heart.

संतों के चरण-कमलों में अत्यंत प्रेम हो और मन, कर्म तथा वचन से भजन करने का दृढ़ नियम हो।

There is deep love for the saints' lotus feet and a firm commitment to worship through thought, action, and speech.

मुझे ही गुरु, पिता, माता, बंधु, स्वामी और देवता—सब मानकर दृढ़ भाव से सेवा करे।

One regards me as everything—teacher, father, mother, kinsman, lord, and deity—and serves me steadfastly.

मेरे गुण गाते समय शरीर रोमांचित होता है, वाणी भाव से रुँध जाती है और आँखों से आँसू बहते हैं।

While singing my virtues, the body thrills, the voice chokes with emotion, and tears flow from the eyes.

जिसमें काम आदि विकार, अहंकार और दंभ नहीं हैं, हे प्रिय, मैं सदा उसके वश में रहता हूँ।

Dear one, I am always under the sway of the devotee who is free of lust and other faults, pride, and hypocrisy.

जो वचन, कर्म और मन से मुझे अपना आश्रय मानकर निष्काम भजन करते हैं—

Those who take me as their refuge in speech, action, and thought, and worship without desire for reward—

उनके हृदय-कमल में मैं सदा विश्राम करता हूँ।

I always rest in the lotus of their hearts.
